Jaenny’s first dance performance on stage was when she was 4 years old. She fell in love with dancing and performing ever since! She has been exposed to a wide variety of dance genres including ballet, Indonesian traditional dances, hip-hop, jazz, Burlesque and many others. In high school, she was a Cheerleading Captain. Performing on stage is a joy to her, she has participated in numerous dance and drama productions. Quite an ‘exercise freak’ herself, Jaenny participated in a number of running events and could even go to the gym 5-6 times a week. However, she had discovered that dancing is her favourite way to keep fit. In 2012-2013, she was selected as part of the The Developing Artist Program of Jitterbugs Swingapore, an intensive 12-month dance program to groom aspiring dancers and benefited from an all-round technical training. When she discovered Zumba, she was thrilled by how dancing could be the foundation for such an effective fitness program that is accessible by everyone. Her hectic lifestyle taught her that being healthy is of ultimate importance and that exercise should be fun instead of a chore. She is passionate that all her students have an enjoyable time while having an effective workout.
